LINING METHOD FOR INSIDE WALL OF PIPELINE PROVIDED WITH VALVE

PURPOSE:To remarkably improve the working efficiency for lining by replacing only the valve disk of a valve contained in a pipeline without detaching the valve then of with a tentative valve disk provided with a flow hole. CONSTITUTION:A bonnet 10 of the valve 9 is removed and a valve stem 11 and the valve disk are removed from a valve box 13 in a lining method for an installed pipeline using gaseous flow and lining material. The tentative valve 14 is then inserted into the valve box 13 in place of the valve disk and the tentative valve disk body 14 is held in the position of the valve disk while the valve is held fully closed. The tentative valve disk 14 has approximately the same size as the size of the valve disk and is provided with the flow hole 15 of the bore approximately equal to the bore of a fluid passage 13a in the position where the valve body 13 faces the passage 13a. The air flow and lining material are supplied to an accelerator and the gaseous mixture composed of both is ejected from a nozzle into the pipeline 1. The working efficiency for the lining is thus considerably improved.
