PURPOSE:To obtain a titled device attached to a press and capable of positioning a plate material efficiently and easily, by constituting the device which transfers the plate-material from a lift plate to a pallet after positioning it on the lift plate by butting stoppers and a centering device. CONSTITUTION:In a stage of mounting a plate material 8 onto a material feeding device, used for feeding the material 8 mounted on a pallet 2 to a press (figure is omitted); respective butting members 31 of butting stoppers 18, having approximately the same constructions, and a centering device 19 are adjusted, by a handle 34, to make the members 31 coincide with the shape of material 8. Next, the empty pallet 2 is moved to the normal position, and a lift plate 22 provided with many rolls on its upper surface is lifted by the action of a hydraulic cylinder 20 to mount the material 8, carried in by a fork-lift truck, onto it; the material 8 is made first to butt the butting members 31 of the butting stoppers 18, and next from left and right sides, the members 31 of the centering device 19 are advanced by actions of hydraulic clinders 29 to position the mamaterial 8, and then, the material 8 is transferred onto the pallet 2. |
