A toy vehicle has a bolt (10) by means of which the front wheels (6) can be fixed for straight travel or adopt two end positions. A friction brake is fitted to the front wheel on one side. When the single-channel control is actuated, the vehicle can be driven on a level surface if the front wheels are not fixed. If the front wheels are fixed, the vehicle is used on a track with side wheels.
