<p>Pyrimidyl thioureas of the formula (I) wherein R1, R2, and R3 individually represent hydrogen, halogen, a linear or branched alkoxy group, or a linear or branched alkyl group, said groups having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts. These compounds are useful for the treatment of hyperlipidemia and hypertension. Compositions containing these compounds as well as methods of use and preparation thereof are also disclosed.</p> |
