What is proposed is a handle fitting (10) with a child-proof device for window or door wings, having a housing (16), a pivot pin (18) passing through the housing and carrying the handle (14), a safety slide (26) guided out of the housing and movable to and fro radially relative to the pivot-pin axis (58), and a disc-shaped securing part (20) attached fixedly in terms of rotation to the pivot pin. The securing part (20) is provided by its outer circumference with a plurality of engagement grooves (70) which correspond in number and position to the intended rotary actuation positions of the handle (14). In the intended rotary positions, an axially projecting nose (68) of the safety slide (26) engages respectively into one of the engagement grooves (70) and thereby blocks the handle (14). Since the engagement grooves (70) can be arranged in any way, there is the possibility also of safeguarding intermediate positions of the handle (14) by means of the child-proof device, for example a rotary part-tilted position, in which the wing can be tilted open only slightly in order to set a ventilation gap. <IMAGE>
