Micro-switch safety stop for bakery dough moulding machine - actuated by pivoted wall of entry passage in top cover guard

An electro-mechanical safety device for the infeed of a bakery dough moulding machine of the type in which dough is manually inserted between face-to-face endless bands. The dough is pushed in through an opening in the top cover guard and the operator's fingers may be rollers of the two bands. The opening is surrounded by four walls of a short hopper or entry passage. The wall of the passage adjacent the operator is pivoted at its lower end. If the operator feels his fingers being trapped he recoils, pulls on the pivoted wall which actuates a micro-switch to stop the machine and avoids a serious accident.
