PURPOSE:To easily detect destructed files, by writing names of files being updated or newly implemented in a file updating table installed to an external storage medium and by reading out the file name when the power supply is instantaneously interrupted. CONSTITUTION:A memory 2 which is controlled by a CPU1 has a file updating table 20, a control program 21, and a work for working 22'. A disk device 3 is provided with a file updating table 30 in addition to planting areas 31 and 32 of files A and B, and names of files being updated or newly implemented are deposited in the table 30. The area 20 of the memory 2 is used when the file updating table 30 is expanded. When an instantaneous interruption of the power supply is detected 4 while a file is updated (newly implemented), a reset signal RST is sent to the CPU1 and, after the power supply is restored, the CPU1 extends the content of the file 30 to the area 20 of the memory 2. If ''being updated (newly implemented)'' is recorded when the content is read, the CPU1 detects that the file is destructed and inhibits the use of the file thereafter. |
