PURPOSE:To prevent a sag amount of a loop from changing at turret operation without causing the necessity for using a retaining roll, by adding a position detection signal of a loop detector to a tension controller of a winding spool driving motor and forming a position control loop. CONSTITUTION:Since a loop 12 is operated with a sag amount in a reference position at normal winding operation, an output of a loop detector 8 is in an almost zero condition and a motor 5 is rotated at a fixed speed determined by a line speed reference signal 22. Accordingly, a forcibly pressing roll 4 is also rotated at a fixed speed to feed a wound material 1 at a fixed speed to a winding side. Then if a speed difference is caused between an inlet side of the material 1 and the winding side, a sag amount of the loop 12 is changed, and the change is detected by a loop detector 8. Then an output of this detector 8 corrects the signal 22. While a winding motor 3 is also controlled similarly in accordance with a current reference signal 24 and position detection signal 14 by the detector 8 to perform tension control. |
