<p>PURPOSE:To use a terminal of a package to all other applications, by providing a terminal on at least a single side of the upper and lower surfaces of the package to change the contents of a writable ROM. CONSTITUTION:A pakage 1 contains a microprocessor unit, a random access memory, an EPROM, an interface, etc. to form a one-chip microcomputer. The address and data input terminals 2-2 are provided on the upper surface of the package 1 to write or erase the data within the EPROM. It is possible to provide these terminals also on the lower surface of the package 1. As a result, the terminals 3-3 of dual lines can be used for all other applications. Thus a compact one-chip microcomputer of high efficiency is obtained.</p> |
