Phenyl-containing organopolysiloxane fluids characterized by the formula, <IMAGE> wherein Ph is phenyl, R is hydrogen, trimethylsilyl or mixtures thereof and wherein x and y have a value sufficient to provide a phenyl content of from about 7 weight percent to about 80 weight percent are provided. Also provided are polycarbonate compositions comprising these novel phenyl containing organopolysiloxane fluids.
