BACKGROUND REMOVER IN ION CHROMATOGRAPHY

摘要

PURPOSE:To economize the consumption of scavenger liquid by having a column packed with ion exchange resins and a line for returning the used scavenger liquid to a storage tank in a force feed line for the scavenger liquid. CONSTITUTION:A background remover has a column 12 packed with about 100g H<+> type strong acid cation exchange resins of 20-50 meshes and a line 14 for returning used scavenger liquid to a scavenger liquid storage tank 8 in a force feed line 13 for scavenger liquid. According to the background remover of this invention, the device is so constituted as to regenerate and circulate the used scavenger liquid; therefore the consumption of the scavenger liquid is economized.
