In a centrifugal purifier for liquids, having a cylindrical rotor (4) which is mounted on an axis (1) to be rotatable around the latter and a housing (5) with an insert which is arranged therein and has a multiplicity of annular slots (8) extending in the axial direction and allowing relatively thin layers of the purification liquid to pass through, the purification efficiency is improved. For this purpose, the insert is formed from at least two sections (6, 7) which are arranged one behind the other along the hollow axis of the rotor (4) at a mutual distance. The inlet to each section (6, 7) is here connected to the purification liquid line, and the outlet is connected to the line for the purified liquid. <IMAGE>
