PURPOSE:To make it possible to carry out the doffing smoothly, by running an automatic doffer and a conveyor belt intermittently along the front of a roving frame, changing full bobbins with empty bobins, delivering the full bobbins from the coveyor belt at one end of the roving frame, and feeding the empty bobbins to the coveyor belt. CONSTITUTION:In front of a roving frame 1, a conveyor belt 11 and an automatic doffer 10 running intermittently along the roving frame 1 are provided, and empty bobbins are pulled out of the respective spindles in the roving frame 1 by the automatic doffer 10 while running intermittently along the front of the roving frame 1 and placed on the conveyor belt 11. Empty bobbins are simultaneously pulled out of the conveyor belt 11 and inserted in the respective empty spindles. The conveyor belt 11 is run at a speed double the running speed of the automatic doffer 10, and the full bobbins are received from the conveyor belt 11 by a full bobbin discharging machine 7 at one end of the roving frame 1 and then transferred to a full bobbin receiving cart 8. The empty bobbins are transferred from an empty bobin holding cart 6 onto the conveyor belt 11. |
