PURPOSE:To improve the maintainability of the title recorder by enabling the extremely easy exchange of a thermal sheet for an electrode head, by a method wherein the thermal sheet heating by electric energization and the multi-needle recording electrode head applying electricity to said sheet according to recording information are so constructed as to be freely connected to or disconnected from the body of the thermal recorder. CONSTITUTION:The thermal sheet 3 heating by electric energization and the multi-needle recording electrode head 4 applying pulse to the sheet 3 according to recording information are possessed. The head 4 is, in a sliding manner, brought in contact with the sheet 3 to energize it and thermal recording is carried out. The thermal sheet 3, the electrode head 4, a pressure spring 7, a return electrode 10, thermal sheet rollers 11, 11 and rollers 33, 34 are, in one united body, enclosed in a cassette 13 as a unit and this cassette 13 can be freely connected to or disconnected from the body 1 of a thermal recorder. Thus the cassette 13 can be very easily connected to or disconnected from the body 1 and the exchange of the thermal sheet 3 and the electrode 4 can be carried out very simply and simultaneously by exchanging the cassette 13. |
