PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact driving force normal/reverse switching device using a spring clutch having an inward hook, and capable of obtaining stable rotations. SOLUTION: A bevel gear mechanism 10 is composed of an input bevel gear 16 fitted in a middle shaft 13 of a rotation transmitting shaft 12 and integrated with an input gear 14, and a middle bevel gear 22 engaged with an output bevel gear 17 integrated with an output gear 15. The spring clutch 25 is installed on an inner diameter surface of a clutch storage portion 21 provided integrally with the input bevel gear 16 while keeping elasticity. In an initial state wherein one hook 32 of the spring clutch 25 is engaged with the rotation transmitting shaft 12 and the other hook 32' is engaged with a hook receiving arm 34 of a control gear 31, a required control clearance exists between an engaging portion 26 provided on the rotation transmitting shaft 12 and a stopper arm 35. An end surface of the middle bevel gear 22 is slid with under cut portions 18, 19 respectively provided on opposite surfaces of the input gear 14 and the output gear 15 so as to relatively rotate.
