PURPOSE:To orient the tested surface of a test piece upward, by providing a movable block having a recess and by poviding a movable block support and drive means for revolving the movable block around the axis of the peripheral surface of the recess. CONSTITUTION:A movable block 10 having a container-like recess 16 defined by a concave bottom 14 and a cylindrical peripheral surface 12 having an axis L, and a movable block support and drive means, which comprises a motor 72 and a linkage including links 50, 56, 60 and functions to revolve the movable block around the axis L without rotating the block, are provided. When a piston rod 82 is moved up by starting an actuator 80, the axis L greatly separates from the axis M of the output shaft 74 of a motor so that the movable block 10 is revolved. If a test piece 1 is not placed with its cut-off surface on the upside in the recess 16 from the beginning, the test piece surely turns over so that its cut-off surface is located on the upside and the test piece moves round on the peripheral surface 12 while rotating. |
