<p>PURPOSE:To increase the rupture strength of the resulting material for a sensor and the adhesive strength to an oxide element and to reduce the cost by dispersing a small amount of ZrO2 or ThO2 as metallic oxide in Pt. CONSTITUTION:This material for a temp. or oxygen sensor is obtd. by dispersing 0.01-2wt% ZrO2 or ThO2 as metallic oxide in 98-99.99wt% Pt. When a wire rod of this material is buried in an oxide element and sintered at a high temp., the crystal grains grow very hardly. Accordingly, high creep rupture strength is provided, and the resulting sensor is not ruptured even under violet vibration, repeated rapid cooling and heating or contact with gaseous CO when attached to a car or the like.</p> |
