<p>PURPOSE:To record with a low density through an adjustment of heating pulse width and paper-feeding speed, by a method wherein a heating element having a length most suitable for the minimum recording density required in the traveling direction of the heating element is used, which is placed under heat treatment continuously. CONSTITUTION:When the paper is fed in a fixed direction, the heating for the second line is started at the position of numeral 7. As a result, a space is generated between the first line recorded and the second line recorded. Therefore, the paper must be fed in a fixed direction asf a whole while being minutely moved forwards and backwards. Since such a paper-feeding operation is difficult in practice, the recording in one cycle (when the operation is repeated twice, each of the heating elements is heated twice) of all of the heating elements is bisected or is driven in a batch base.</p> |
