PURPOSE:To obtain a bubble detector and eraser which performs stable nondestructive reading operation by providing the 2nd magnetic bubble transfer path at a position corresponding to nearly a half length of a stretcher part. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic bubble arriving at a bubble strethcer terminal A through a transfer path 1 is stretched when a stretcher current is supplied to a conductor 3. This stretched bubble has a magnetic field detected by a thin- film permalloy detector 4 and becomes a shrinked bubble which is to move to a position B which is a half the length of the stretcher part and close to the center. The magnetic bubble shrinked to this position B is read out without destruction through the 2nd transfer path provided at the 2nd transfer line 2. A magnetic bubble is erased by an opposite phase stretcher current. Since the 2nd transfer line is provided at this stable position, a stable nondestructive read is performed by this bubble detector and eraser. |
