发明名称 Verfahren zur Herstellung von maschensicherer Strumpfware auf Rundstrickmaschinen
摘要 989,188. Knitting. M. NEBEL. Jan. 29, 1962 [Feb. 4, 1961], No. 3361/62. Headings D1C and D1K. Ladder resistant fabric is knitted on a circular knitting machine with latch needles, sinkers, and two or more feeders by knitting a course (a) of stitches and thread loops which are held on the needles above the latches so that when a course (b) is knitted these loops form double thread stitches with the corresponding stitches of course (a), the needle selection in course (a) being altered after at least two such courses so that double thread stitches in successive courses (a) appear in successive wales and the needle and/or sinker action being such that the thread loops do not press the latches against the stitches already on the needle stems. Fabric I, Fig. 11, comprises courses (a) of short thread length compared with course (b) so that the formation of the double thread stitches robs thread from the remaining stitches in course (a) and these form small locking stitches. Fabric II, Fig. 12, is similar but the double thread stitches are formed in the short thread length course and are the actual locking stitches. When knitting fabric I, all needles are raised to clear the loops of the preceding course on to their stems after which needles N<SP>2</SP> are raised higher than needles N<SP>1</SP>,both sets of needles receive the yarn needles N<SP>1</SP> knit and needles N<SP>2</SP> retain their loops above the latches, the stitches being sunk on levels p<SP>a</SP>, p<SP>b</SP> or P<SP>t</SP> behind the sinker hook P<SP>h</SP>. At the next feeder system, all needles receive and knit the yarn on sinking points P<SP>a</SP> or P<SP>b</SP> or in front of the sinker hook thus forming double thread stitches on needles N<SP>2</SP>. When knitting fabric II, the course (a) is drawn on the tops of sinker hooks P<SP>a</SP> the sinkers being controlled by cam P<SP>1</SP> so as to be advanced earlier than normal all needles receiving the yarn but only needles N<SP>1</SP> knitting. At the next system, course (b) is formed by all needles on one of the sinking points P<SP>a</SP>, P<SP>b</SP>, p<SP>t</SP> The needle cams may be adjusted to different heights to give the different thread length courses. When knitting these fabrics the needle latches tend to be pressed back against the stitches on the needle stems when holding the first thread of the double thread stitch and to avoid this, Fig. 1, the sinkers are advanced so that the backs of the sinker hooks are in front of the latches Z and the sinker loops prevent the loops remaining above the needle latches from pressing on these latches. Alternatively, each needle may be lowered until the loop rests on the needle hinge. In a further arrangement, Fig. 4, in fabric in which the short thread length course is also formed behind the sinker hook, the needles which are to hold the loops are drawn down until the latch closes and sinker cam P<SP>b</SP>, Fig. 13, is made inoperative so that the sinkers are not withdrawn but continue to hold the sinker loops and hence prevent the thread loops from lowering the needle latches. As shown, Fig. 7 sloping part P<SP>c</SP> of the sinkers absorbs the pressure of the thread. Specifications 925,462, 925,463 and 989,186 are referred to.
