PURPOSE:To maintain the clamping pressure of battery layers at a constant level by heating the clamping rod, in accordance with the internal pressure of the battery and then stretching it. CONSTITUTION:The following devices are provided, such as fuel battery pressure detector 6 which detects the internal pressure of fuel battery layer 1; a rod heater 7 which heats clamping rod; and a rod heating controller 8 which heat controls the clamping rod till the detecting signal of the said fuel battery pressure detector 6 (IE piezo-electricity detector) is equalized to the preset internal pressure of fuel battery layer D; and the rod heater 7 is controlled so as to make the internal pressure value of the fuel layer becomes constant. Thus, the clamping pressure can be maintained at a constant level, by heating the clamping rod according to the variation of temperature in the fuel battery layer 1. |
