PURPOSE:To give adequate instructions regardless of the kind of governors, by utilizing an output signal from a position detector which detects the position control rack of an injection pump as a load signal. CONSTITUTION:The device 3 for instructing economical fuel consumption driving has a rack position sensor 6, which detects the amount of the rack movement of the control rack of the injection pump in order to detect the load of a diesel engine. A rack voltage VR, whose level is changed in response to the amount of the control rack movement, is outputted from a rack movement-voltage conversion circuit 7 which is connected to the rack position sensor 6. The rack voltage VR is inputted into an inverted amplifier circuit 8 constituted mainly by an operation amplifier A2, and an inverted output voltage V1 is outputted. Said inverted output voltage V1 is applied to a positive input terminal of a voltage comparator M1 in a comparator circuit 9 and its level is compared with the level of a rotation voltage VN which is applied to a negative terminal thereof. |
