Machine tool with exchangeable tool head, in which a storage device (B) for several tool heads as well as an exchange device (C) are provided. The exchange device (C) enables one of the tool heads in the machine tool to be exchanged for a desired tool head in the storage device, the total space requirement being comparatively small. A preferred embodiment is configured in such a way that every tool head in the machine tool can be exchanged for a tool head which is stored outside the machine tool.
