This hydraulic power transmission can be used both in vehicles and in other areas. By means of its geared motor - sichel motor or usual two-disc motor - in conjunction with its laminar pump, it has the advantage of a high degree of robustness and long service life. Both components, geared motor and laminar pump, do not need any vast degree of development work. The most important advantage is that the invention is alone amongst all known hydraulic power transmissions to provide a torque contribution even at high motor speeds. This takes place according to the invention in that, by virtue of the selection of the units, the motor makes, as a power output, almost twice as many rotations as the drive pump with the same flow rate of oil and lever arm.
