PURPOSE:To form an intake passage, from an intake barrel inlet of carburetors to an intake valve port of cylinders, to a prescribed length further eliminate a curved part, by specifically arranging a position of the first and second carburetors between the first and the second engine blocks. CONSTITUTION:The first and second carburetors C1, C2 are arranged between the first and second engine blocks E1, E2 in such a manner that center lines D1, D2 of carburetor intake barrels 41, 42 intersect almost on a bisector of an angle theta formed by center lines A1, A2 of both engine blocks as viewed from the axial line direction of a crankshaft 2. In this way, the intake barrels 41, 42 of the carburetors C1, C2 can be aranged to a prescribed length without causing the necessity for folding in a narrow space S between the engine blocks E1, E2. Accordingly, an inertia effect and the like of intake can be fully utilized to improve output performance of an engine. While inlets of the intake barrels are opened in an opposite direction to each other because of intersection of the carburetor intake burrels, and intake interference is almost not caused even by neighboring arrangement of the both intake barrels. |
