PURPOSE:To maintain a high driving capacity for a long duration by fitting a sliding member made of a different material from a piston for changing the spectional area of an air passage into a piston penetration hole providing a suction passage on the side of the main body of a carburetter. CONSTITUTION:In a part for fitting and sliding a piston 1 in a carburetter main body 11, a cylinderical sliding member 13 is fast fixed to be airtight, and on its inner wall, a plurality of grooves 14 and sliding parts 15 are provided for reducing the area of contact to facilitate operation. This sliding member 13 is out of synthetic resin, a different material from the piston 1 made by die casting of aluminium. This construction permits to obtain smooth operation for a long duration without generating sliding powders. It is free from the generation of stickly mixtures of sliding powders and moisture, even if wet suction air passes through a suction air passage 10 in a weather of high humidity. |
