PURPOSE:To decrease leakage and noise caused by the difference of distances, by performing equalization at each subscriber side and equalizing transmission signals in advance with its equalizing signal, in a digital transmission system between a station and a plurality of subscribers located at different distances from the station through the use of a plural pairs of conductors. CONSTITUTION:A signal from a station 100 is transmitted to a subscriber 200 via an input terminal 1, a transmission buffer, time division multiplex switches 5, 5' and a reception buffer 4'. The subscriber 200 controls an automatic equalizer 7 based on the peak value of a reception signal and preequalization is performed for a preequalizer 11 with the same signal. In place of the switches 5, 5', a hybrid can be used as 4-2-4-wire transmission system. |
