<p>PURPOSE:To display terminal connecting confirmation between a flash device and a camera, before charging of the flash device is completed, by providing a terminal connection detecting means, a connection confirming signal generating means and a display means. CONSTITUTION:When a charge completion signal output terminal 20 is inserted into a hot shoe 25 and contacts a signal terminal 26, it is applied to the second input terminal of an AND circuit 23 as a detecting signal of terminal connection. To a collector, a collector current flows through resistances 28, 19 from an electric power source KVC, and the potential of the charge completion signal output terminal 20 goes to a low level. This potential of a low level is inputted to a noninversional input terminal of a comparator 27, as a connection confirming signal. On the other hand, an output of an AND circuit 30 goes to a high level, a light emission diode 32 is driven by a specified time limit decided by a monostable multivibrator 22 through a resistance 31, and connection of the terminal is displayed. After that, a main capacitor 4 is charged, the light emission diode 32 is turned on, and completion of charging of the main capacitor 4 is displayed.</p> |
