PURPOSE:To completely grasp an exhaust source of pollution gas and the degree of air pollution, by combining a simple pollution gas collecting method and a high-sensitive analyzing method. CONSTITUTION:A pollution gas absorbing sample, which is prepared by selecting a gas absorbing agent depending on gas to be measured in the air and wetting it in a material being excellent in wettability, is left standing in an arbitrary position in the air at the outdoor and the indoor for a given period of time being remarkably shorter when compared to that which is taken by a conventional method, and after pollution gas to be measured is absorbed, a quantitative analysis is conducted in a way that a degassing phenomenon is prevented from occurring. An amount of gas absorbed in the sample, which is found as described above, is multiplied with a conversion factor of a relation between an amount of gas absorbed by the sample for each component gas and concentration of pollution gas in the air, the conversion factor being experimentally found by an impinger method and determined through correction of temperature condition, and this computes a pollution gas concentration in the air. |
