PURPOSE:To obtain the core for electric machine of excellent magnetic characteristics by a method wherein, prior to the lamination of material pieces, a plastic warpage is given to the thin plate materials or the core material pieces by performing an enlargement work on them, and an annealing is then performed to accelerate the growth of crystallization based on the plastic warpage. CONSTITUTION:A non-directional electromagnetic steel plate such as full-processed non-directional electromagnetic steel plate is prepared for use. Then, an enlargement work is performed on the thin material plate. An appropriate value of enlargement working rate is established according to the types of full-processed non-directional electromagnetic steel plates, but generally a 7-10% range is considered to be a desirable value for the growth of crystallization of the electromagnetic steel plates. A certain fixed plastic warpage is generated on the electromagnetic steel plates by performing said enlargement working, and a number of core material pieces are formed from the enlarged thin material plate. Then, a laminated core is formed by laminating these core material pieces. The laminated cores are then solidified by means of welding or caulking. Then, the laminated cores are annealed at the temperature of 800 deg.C or thereabouts and the manufacture of the cores for electric machine is completed. |
