PURPOSE:To obtain a toner superior in developability, durability, and fixability, by specifying the particle size distribution of the toner. CONSTITUTION:Such particle size distribution is given to a toner that an average particle size (A), which is calculated on the basis of the particle number distribution from a particle xize meter which converts optical information connected directly to a microscope to an electric signal by a television camera and utilizes the number of scanning lines of the television and points obtained by fractionizing the number of scanning lines, and an average particle size (B), which is calculated on the basis of the number distribution from a particle size meter which amplifies the electric resistance change generated when suspended particles in an electrolyte pass through narrow holes, satisfy relation A/B=1-1.50. Thus, a toner superior in picture quality is obtained. |
