PURPOSE:To improve safety, by easily releasing driving action in a sheet discharge part. CONSTITUTION:If a finger and the like of the operator are caught by the peripheral part of a paper discharge roller 5 and paper discharge fame 2, an external load is abnormally applied to the paper discharge roller 5, and the paper discharge frame 2 can be moved upward by a long hole part 22, further a roll shaft 4 of the paper discharge fame 2 is moved in the direction of an arrow head, as shown in the drawing, from a notched part 11 of a main unit frame 1 to a position of two-dot chain line, then driving of a paper discharge gear 6 is released from an idle gear 7 and stopped. Furthermore, a driving position to the paper discharge roller 5 may be directly transmitted from a driving source, while release of transmission may be performed by the method of releasing contact friction force. |
