LT over-current circuit breaker with external detector - uses externally attached detector unit coupled to terminals of circuit breaker to maintain standard connections

The low tension overcurrent circuit breaker has a standard circuit breaker unit and an external overcurrent detector unit. The circuit breaker unit is in a parallelepipedic moulded case with a rear face having attachment points, a front face with an operating lever for the contacts, and two lateral faces on which the input and output terminals are mounted. The external detector unit is in a moulded case having a face suitable for attachment to the rear mountings of the circuit breaker. This face is traversed by the input and output conductors of the detector block which pass through a pair of holes in the wall of the casing. The input conductor to the detector unit is coupled to the input terminal of the circuit breaker to maintain connection compatability with the standard circuit breaker without separate detection block.
