PURPOSE:To enable pressure welding with desired strong clipping force regardless of thickness of objects to be welded by moving the object to a position where a movable clipping body clips the object lightly, and then pressure welding the object strongly by operation of a locking device and a force magnifying means. CONSTITUTION:When a driver 12 is operated under the condition shown in the figure, the output is transmitted to a locking device 14 and lowers a sliding body 5 and an intermediate body 8 against a spring 7, and clips the object to be pressure welded lightly with a fixed clipping body 2 and a movable clipping body 6. When operation of the driver 12 is continued, the output is inputted to a force magnifying means 9 against a spring 13. When it operates to some degree, the device 14 becomes a locked state and rising of the intermediate body 8 is checked. Accordingly, magnified force is generated in the means 9 by reaction from a guide bar 3, and this force is transmitted through a sliding body 5 to the clipping body 6 which is pressing the object lightly and the object to be pressure welded is pressed strongly. When output of the driver 12 is released after completion of pressure welding, original condition shown in the figure is restored. |
