The invention relates to an encapsulated electrical cable winch having a main hoisting drive and a precision hoisting drive. The object of the invention is to provide a cable winch having a main hoisting drive which is suitable for additionally equipping with a precision hoisting drive without changing the components. The task is to utilise the available free space inside the cable winch for the precision hoisting drive in order not to increase the external dimensions of the hoist. According to the invention, the object is achieved by providing, between the motor for the main hoisting drive and the gears inside the cable drum, a low-speed motor for the precision hoisting drive which is positively linked to the connecting shaft between the motor for the main hoisting drive and the gears.
