PURPOSE:To exactly confirm leakage, by providing a helium gas injecting device, a helium detector 16, and an alarm controller for closing a stop valve provided on a conduit line connecting each apparatus of a radioactive waste gas treatment device. CONSTITUTION:In the outlet part of an air extractor 3 of a radioactive waste gas treatment device 1, a helium gas injecting device 13 is connected in parallel to the air extractor 3, so that helium gas flows in the radioactive waste gas treatment device 1 together with radioactive waste gas at all times when an atomic reactor is being operated. Also, to an air intake duct 15, a helium detector 16 is installed, and also to the helium detector 16, an alarm controller 18 which is driven by a helium gas detecting signal and raises an alarm is connected. Therefore, when helium gas leaks into a chamber 2, it is detected immediately by the helium detector 16, the alarm controller 18 is driven, and leakage is confirmed exactly. |
