PURPOSE:To enhance finish of cooking irrespective of the amount of food or the initial temperature, by a method wherein a weight loss ratio is set on the basis of the kind and the amount of the matter to be cooked, and a heating member is controlled when an actual weight loss ratio reaches a set point, in a high- frequency heater. CONSTITUTION:Information from a cooking menu setting part 1 and initial weight information from a weight-detecting part 6 are inputted into a weight loss ratio setting part 10, then a target weight loss ratio is set and is inputted into a controlling part 12. On the other hand, the weight of the food being cooked is inputted from the part 6 into a weight loss ratio calculating part 11, where the weight loss ratio for each predetermined period of time is calculated and is inputted into the controlling part 12. The controlling part 12 stops heating actions of a high-frequency heating means 8 and a heater heating means 9 when it is discriminated that the actual weight loss ratio calculated by the part 11 coincides with the target weight loss ratio set by the part 10. Accordingly, setting of heating time is unnecessitated, and food can be cooked to the optimum finish irrespective of the amount of the food or the initial temperature. |
