PURPOSE:To provide a compact and cheap ignition device, by providing an integration circuit employing a single capacitor, to achieve a spark advancement characteristic corresponding to the rotation of an engine and by adding a fixed- angle pulse circuit to achieve a spark advancement characteristic corresponding to negative pressure or the like. CONSTITUTION:A pulser 1, which rotates synchronously with the rotation of an engine to detect the most advanced ignition position and the least advanced ignition position, and a pulse circuit 2, which generates fixed-angle pulses corresponding to a condition such as the negative pressure of the engine, from the time of the detection of the most advanced ignition position, are provided. A spark advancement pulse generator circuit 3 is provided to attain a spark advancement characteristic corresponding to the rotational frequency of the engine. The generator circuit 3 comprises a flip-flop 301, an integrating operational amplifier 313, an integrating capacitor 312 coupled between the inverting input terminal and output terminal of the amplifier, a comparator 316 and an inverter 318. The OR of the outputs of the pulser 1, a flip-flop 22 and the inverter 318 is taken by an OR circuit 7. An ignition coil is controlled by the output of the circuit 7. |
