PURPOSE:To prevent system-down due to error, by taking one of blocks at an associative level not deleted as a block to be fixedly replaced, when a block to be replaced due to the error can not be determined. CONSTITUTION:A replacing logical circuit 7 determines a block to be replaced out of blocks not deleted based on LRU information and delete-associative-level information. When an error check circuit 9 detects that a logic circuit 7 can not determine a block to be replaced, the circuit 9 discriminates the production of error, given instruction to a selector 10 that the output of a logic circuit 8 is to be selected, and instructs the selector 10 that the output of the logic circuit 7 is to be selected. The output of the selector 10 represents the associative level of the block to be replaced. |
