PURPOSE:To increase a processing speed of interruption, and to economize a memroy stack, by jumping a no-return interruption immediately to a new processing program, without saving the information regarding a program which is in execution at present, when said interruption has been generated. CONSTITUTION:If a no-return interruption is generated when a program of a microcomputer is in execution, an interuption controlling circuit 9 generates a control signal C2, selects a branch address corresponding to the signal C2 by an address selecting circuit 4, and sets it to a program counter 3. Subsequently, an instruction stored in an address position set to the counter 3 is read out in order from a program memory 1, and this new program routine is executed in order. Also, in case of the no-return interruption, the counter 3 and a program status word 7 are not saved, therefore, even after this no-return interruption processing has ended, control of the microcomputer is not returned to its original program processing. |
