PURPOSE:To form a false etched pattern with an excellent corrosion resistance in a short period of time by printing characters, patterns or the like on the matte surface of a base material in a transparent (colored) non-water-based printing ink. CONSTITUTION:Characters, patterns or the like are printed on the matte surface of a porous base material 1 made of metal, plastic, glass or the like with a transparent (colored) non-water-based ink comprising an alkyd resin, PVC and the like to form an ink film 2. The top surface of the film 2 is finished so smooth 3 to develop a false etched effect depending on a difference in the luster between the exposed portion 4 of the base material 1 and the smooth surface 3 of the film 2. This realizes a simple and economical working process with a short working time without restriction on the base material, the printing ink or the like thereby eliminating generation of pollution due to a waste etching liquid. |
