PURPOSE:To prevent a stabilizer from misfunction and restrain wind-up roll by locating one of connections of connecting lever portions of a stabilizer of a vehicle suspension system and an axle case on the front of the axle case axis and the other of said connections on the rear of same. CONSTITUTION:When wind-up force is applied to an axle case 20 about the axis A in the direction of the arrow B in the start of a vehicle for example, a connecting lever portion 26a is subjected to upward pivoting force about the axis of a torsion bar portion 25 and a lever portion 26b is subjected to downward pivoting force. Thus, the torsion bar portion 25 is subjected to torsional force so that wind-up phenomenon of the axle case 20 is restrained by resistive force of the torsion bar portion 25. In upward and downward movement of left and right wheels 22a, 22b with same phase during travelling of the vehicle, the connecting lever portions 26a, 26b together pivot upward and downward about the torsion bar portion 25 to insulate a stabilizer 24 from the upward and downward movement of the wheel. Thus, comfortableness can be improved by a leaf spring 18 with small spring constant. |
