PURPOSE:To form an embossed pattern perfectly, by engraving a rugged pattern on the surface of a press roll to form an embossed pattern on a film which is pressed and quenched by a cooling roll thereby the well embossed pattern would not disappear. CONSTITUTION:A resin in the molten state is extruded down like a film through a T-die 7, and this film 5 is fed to a rubber roll (press roll) 3 having a rugged pattern 2 and suitably positioned downstream of the traveling path of the film 5. An embossed pattern is formed on the surface of the film 5. Without releasing the embossed film 11 from the press roll 3, it is immediately pressed and quenched by a cooling roll 1 to complete the embossed pattern and also to solidify the whole of the film 11 so that the completely embossed pattern may be securely solidified and may not disappear. |
