PURPOSE:To prevent a current from running excessively through motors at starting by a constitution wherein a ring-shaped frame fitted with the motors in the circumferential direction is made capable of racing around a shaft to be driven at the time when the motors are started. CONSTITUTION:In a device wherein a shaft 3 is driven by a plurality of motors 10, a ring-shaped frame to which the motors 10 are fitted is arranged around the shaft 3 to be driven, through the intermediary of rollers 9, and is made capable of racing around the shaft 3. Moreover, an arm 13 and stoppers 14a and 14b are provided for stopping the racing. By this constitution, the ring-shaped frame 7 starts racing first when the motors 10 in plural are started sequentially. About the time when the starting of all the motors 10 is completed, the arm 13 is engaged with the stopper 14, the racing of the frame 7 is thereby stopped, and a driving power is transmitted to the shaft 3 to be driven. Thus, an excessive starting current can be prevented. |
