PURPOSE:To enhance operability, by providing a function for storing printed density upon printing, together with the result of a processing. CONSTITUTION:When a key input is an input made by operating a printed density adjusting switch 12, printed density information indicating a printed density designated by the switch 12 is taken in, and is stored in a temporary storage area for the printed density information. When the key input is an input made by operating a document-storing key, character data, format data stored in a format data storage area and the printed density information stored in the momentary storage area are read, and are stored into a floppy disk drive device 4 in the form of a file. Thus, the printed density information is stored together with document information which is the result of a processing. Accordingly, the printed density information can be read to set a printed density, at the time of reading a document text to print it. |
