PURPOSE:To realize a sufficient contact pressure between a storage battery and a terminal receiving member, and maintain a secured contact between them even when vibrations occur by supporting a guide groove provided on the end part of the battery and a pair of concave parts provided on both sides of the said end part by means of a projection and a pair of arms provided on the said terminal receiving part, from three different directions. CONSTITUTION:The symbol 1 represents a storage battery installed in an electric apparatus. A tapered guide groove 2 is provided at the bottom of the end part of the battery 1 from which the battery 1 is inserted. A pair of concave parts 3 which have different sizes and extend from the above end part are provided on both sides of the above end part. On the other hand, a tapered projections 5, which is guided and fitted into the guide groove 2, is provided at the lower end of a terminal receiving member 4, into which the battery 1 is inserted from the direction indicated by the arrow. In addition, a pair of arms 6, which are fitted and slid into the pair of the concave parts 3, are provided on both sides of the upper end of the member 4. Pairs of positive and negative terminals 7 and 8 are provided on the concave parts 3 and on the inner sides of the arms 6. During the time when the battery 1 is inserted into the terminal receiving member 4, the terminals 7 of the concave parts 3 and the terminals 8 of the arms 6 corresponding to each other are securely connected by making them in sliding contact with each other with an accurate contact pressure. |
