The turning tool intended for the finish machining of shafts, journals, tubes and the like has a disc-shaped basic body (1) which can be connected to the spindle of a lathe and several tool holders (6, 7) releasably fastened to the basic body (1). Each of the tool holders (6, 7) has at least one cutting-tip carrier (12, 13) which can be adjusted radially to the rotational axis (D-D) and can be clamped in place by means of an adjusting screw (25, 32) and carries a cutting tip (23, 31). The basic body (1, 1') has for each tool holder (6, 7) at least one locating bore (4) parallel to the rotational axis (D-D), and the tool holder (6, 7) has a cylindrical shank (5) fitting into this locating bore (4). Each tool holder (6, 7) has an adjusting screw (14) which can be screwed parallel to the rotational axis (D-D) or shank axis (A-A) and is supported on the basic body (2). Furthermore, an anti-rotation lock and a clamping device (8 to 11), by means of which the shank (5) can be clamped in the set axial position, are provided between the shank (5) and the basic body (1, 1'). <IMAGE>
