PURPOSE:To increase a natural frequency without enlarging the carriage and to improve controllability, in the running device of the carriage wherein a plurality of pulleys and a rope are used, by supporting movable pulleys, whose number corresponds to that of fixed pulleys, on the same shaft. CONSTITUTION:The movable pulleys 4a, 4b, 4c, and 4d are mounted on the carriage 1, on which an optical member for a scanner and the like are provided, on the same shaft 5. Meanwhile, fixed pulleys 6 (6a, 6b, 6c, and 6d) are supported on both sides of the movable pulleys 4 by the different shafts. When a motor pulley 8 is rotated in the direction of an arrow by the driving of a motor 7, the rope 9 is pulled in the direction of arrows, and the movable pulleys 4 and the carriage 1 are moved. |
