摘要 PURPOSE:To accurately control the reactive power of a cycloconverter by indirectly controlling the circulating current and the load current of the cycloconverter, thereby eliminating displacement of the switching point. CONSTITUTION:The set value Q* of a reactive power is compared by a comparator C1 with the detected value Q, and the instructed value I0* of a circulating current is outputted through a control compensating circuit H(S). Then, the value I0* and a current ILP* proportional to the load current instructed value IL* are added by an adder A1, and the value I0* and the current ILN* proportional to the instructed value IL are added by an adder A2. The values IP*, I* of the output currents are respectively compared by comparators C2, C3 with the detected values IP, IN of the output currents, and the deviations epsilonP, epsilonN are inputted to the phase control circuit PH-P of positive group converter SS-P, and the phase control circuit PH-N of negative group converter SS-N. The load current IL is controlled to become the value I* and the circulating current is controlled to become the value I0*.
