<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled molded item whose surface pattern is hardly taken off or worn, by forming a pattern on an epoxy impregnated prepreg surface with an ink containing an epoxy resin, an acrylate monomer and a curing agent, irradiating an electron beam onto the surface to cure the ink, and heating and pressing it to mold it. CONSTITUTION:Using an ink containing an epoxy resin, an acrylate monomer (e.g. ethylene glycol diacrylate, etc.) and a curing agent (e.g. boron trifluoride monoethylamine, etc.) for curing the epoxy resin, a pattern is formed on the surface of an epoxy impregnated prepreg. Thereafter, an electron beam is irradiated on the pattern to precure it so that the tackiness of the surface vanishes, and then the prepreg is placed in a hot press wherein it is heated and pressed so that the intended molded item on which the pattern has been secured integrally is obtained. Preferably, the heating temperature is in the range of 150- 180 deg.C, and the pressure used is in the range of 10-100kg/cm<2>.</p> |
